Troubleshooting
Most issues fall into one of these categories. If none of these help, reach us from the support page.
iCloud isn’t syncing
- Confirm you’re signed into iCloud on both devices (Settings → your name).
- Confirm iCloud backup is toggled on in Maxtopia settings on each device.
- Make sure iCloud Drive is enabled for Maxtopia (iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → see all apps).
- Give it a few minutes on a good connection — sync runs in the background.
Apple Watch sessions aren’t appearing
- Keep the Watch and iPhone near each other after a workout so they can sync.
- Confirm the Maxtopia Watch app is installed (Watch app → Available Apps).
- Restart both devices if a session seems stuck.
A .maxtopia file won’t open
- Make sure Maxtopia is installed and updated.
- Tap the file and explicitly choose Open in Maxtopia from the share sheet.
- If the file came from an old app version, update Maxtopia — the format is backward compatible, so current versions open older files.
A purchase isn’t recognized
- In Maxtopia settings, tap Restore purchases.
- Confirm you’re signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Subscriptions are managed in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
