Privacy

Maxtopia runs entirely on your device. Your workouts, programs, history, and settings live in the app on your phone. We never see them, because there’s nowhere for us to see them from — Maxtopia has no backend, no accounts, and no analytics pipeline.

This page explains, plainly, what that means. No “we may share information with affiliates” boilerplate, because none of it would be true.

What we don’t collect

• No email address. No name. No account, ever.
• No analytics or product telemetry inside the app.
• No crash or usage reports unless you explicitly opt in through Apple’s standard system sharing — and even then, those go to Apple, aggregated, not to a server we run.
• No advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting, no tracking SDKs.

What stays on your device

Everything. Every set you log, every program you build, every custom exercise, every setting. It’s stored locally on your iPhone (and Apple Watch). If you delete the app without backing up, that data is gone — because it was only ever in your hands.

What syncs through iCloud

iCloud sync is off by default and entirely optional. If you turn it on, your data syncs between your own Apple devices through your private iCloud account, encrypted by Apple. It does not pass through any Maxtopia server — there isn’t one. We can’t read it, and we don’t want to. Turn it off and everything stays on a single device.

What a .maxtopia file contains when you share it

When you share a workout or program as a .maxtopia file, it contains only what you chose to put in it — the exercises, sets, and notes of that program. It does not bundle your whole history or any identifying information. You can read exactly what’s inside any file: the format is public and documented.

HealthKit

If you grant HealthKit access, you control what Maxtopia writes (such as completed workouts) and reads. We request the minimum needed for the features you use, never more, and HealthKit data stays on your device under Apple’s protections. You can revoke access any time in the Health app.

App Store and payments

Purchases happen through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details — we never see your card, your address, or your Apple ID. We receive only Apple’s anonymized confirmation that a purchase or subscription is active, which is what unlocks the corresponding features on your device.

This website

maxtopia.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not retain raw IP addresses or build a profile of you. It gives us only aggregate counts — how many people viewed a page. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising tracker of any kind on this site. The only other third-party request is Cloudflare Turnstile on the support form, used to block spam without cookies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we’ll update the date below and describe what changed. Because the architecture is “no server, no data,” the substance is unlikely to shift — but you’ll always be able to see the current version here.
